Corvallis MBA - Oregon State MBA

Corvallis MBA

Our Corvallis MBA serves students of diverse backgrounds. Some are people who want to power through the MBA as full-time students; students who qualify for the accelerated program are even able to finish the MBA program in as little as nine months. Other MBA students may live locally and want to work part-time as they advance through the MBA. Our Corvallis MBA program also serves a number of international students.

In-Person Program Format

Our Corvallis MBA classes are mostly in-person and are all about forging connections with your peers, meeting the right people (including alumni and other experts), engaging in discussions on advanced concepts, and presenting project work for review and feedback.

In-person classes are held in Austin Hall, which opened in 2014 on the Corvallis campus. Austin features 10 state-of-the-art classrooms, a computer lab, a 250-seat auditorium and lots of open space (and designated MBA team rooms) for students to work on group projects.

Program length

Our Corvallis program is available as full time or part time. Full-time students who qualify for the accelerated program can finish in just nine months (three terms). Full-time students in our standard program can finish in 12 months (four terms). Part-time students can finish at a pace of their choosing.

We’re an aacsb-accredited college

We’re an AACSB-accredited college, and our Corvallis courses, like our Portland courses, are taught by Oregon State faculty members who are experts in their fields and have business experience. The prestigious AACSB accreditation is known worldwide as the longest-standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.

Be prepared to be challenged. Be prepared to involve yourself in work with your classmates and instructors. I was part of a very diverse group of students, which I think is a really big bonus. Hearing from different points of view is a really good way to learn; it brings up a lot of things you otherwise wouldn’t think of.
