Biography

I am an experienced international educator, recruiter and manager with demonstrated success leading study abroad and admissions teams in large, research-forward institutions across multiple markets having worked in the sector since 2009. My major strengths lie in cross-cultural communication; community outreach; strategy creation, evaluation, and benchmarking; project management; and partner engagement. I have a strong understanding of policies, regulations, and trends affecting student recruitment at local, national, and international levels.

Originally from a small town outside of Edinburgh, Scotland, I graduated at both undergraduate and graduate levels in Law from the University of Edinburgh, a top 20 university in the world. Since graduation, I have worked, recruited, and built partnerships in 5 continents, 30 countries, and 42 US States. I am passionate about increasing educational participation in non-traditional communities. I took time out my career to complete a Master of Education at the University of Texas at Austin to focus on the obstacles these groups face in engaging in education looking at race, class, and gender through a critical lens.
